Held in the open-air courtyard in the Ahuriri Neighbourhood Food Market, this stunning event is the perfect opportunity to get a group of sweet and savoury loving friends together for an afternoon of decadence. The ever-brilliant Maxine Scheckter of Sugar Flour Pastry School will be creating a high-tea experience with support from the PICNIC kitchen (only one of the most popular local pastry hot-spots!).
Maxine will discuss her business in Wellington and the passion that fuels it all, and you’ll have the chance to pick her brains with a Q&A session. Enjoy a glass of rose, bubbles or an espresso martini on arrival followed by a gorgeous dessert buffet. Picture savoury pastries, salmon en croute, asparagus and lemon gallete and those famous Picnic cakes! Sip on Forage and Bloom teas and Allpress coffee.
Take a seat and let the delicious treats come to you, while you soak in the atmosphere and blissful Ahuriri sunshine - you can have your cake and eat it too!
Ticket price includes a choice from a glass of Rose, bubbles or Expresso Martini, All Press coffee or Forage and Bloom tea, and a dessert buffet with 10 choices. Please note ticket reduction from $150 in the printed program.
